New firmware for the BT+BLE Bridge

We have released a new firmware update V2.7.1 for the BT+BLE Bridge, adding two options to give you more control over your Bluetooth connection. With the new firmware, you can:

  • Customize the Bluetooth name to make your device easier to identify when connecting.
  • Choose the Bluetooth mode that fits your setup: BT+BLE (default), BLE only, or Bluetooth Classic only.

These options can help you adapt the device to your application and the Bluetooth capabilities of your computer, tablet, or other equipment.

Do you need to update?

  • If your BT+BLE Bridge is working well for you, there is no need to update. The update is optional. If you’re not comfortable updating firmware, we recommend keeping your current version.
  • If you want to change the Bluetooth name or use a specific Bluetooth mode, you can find the updated firmware and instructions in the User Guide: BT+BLE Bridge.
