New XLR Starter Kit and XLR Radios now plug-and-play compatible with existing LR radios.

Because of the current global travelling restrictions, we used our vacations to go as far as 50km from our headquarters to test a new product: eXtra Long Range (XLR) Starter Kit. You can now enjoy base multirover GPS RTK deployments of up to 50km (rural line of sight). You will find the detailed results in this post.

We also took the chance to update our XLR radio configuration so now they are plug-and-play compatible with your LR rovers. So if you are experiencing problems with the range of your LR kit you can now upgrade your base to simpleRTK2B V3 + XLR Radio.

Unfortunately this level of power is only allowed in North America and Australia… in Europe we will have to stay with the LR kit and “only” up to 10km.
