The ZED-F9P USB port Product ID will be reset after a firmware update. Some old Windows versions prior to Windows 10, might recognize the device as “unknown device”. If this happened to you…
First confirm that this is your problem:
First confirm that this is your problem:
- You should see a new “Unknown Device” when you connect the board to the PC and should disappear when you disconnect.
- Go to u-center > Message View > UBX-CFG-USB. If product ID is 01A9, you are experiencing this issue and you need to change it to 01A8.
Now how to solve it:
- Find a PC with Windows 10, so you can communicate with the ZED-F9P again. Or if you have serial to USB adapters, use UART1 TX1 RX1 to communicate with ZED-F9P
- Go to u-center > Message View > CUSTOM (at the very bottom).
- Paste the following string and Click Send.
