I bought a simplertk2b with a wifi NTRIP master. I managed to connect to the WIFI NTRIP master and started the configuration. Then when I saved the config the wifi Ntrip master stopped working. Since then I have not been possible to connect to the wifi Ntrip master. I have loaded new firmware as per GitHub guide but the led’s wont turn on.
What should one do?
It could be that you set an incorrect configuration or a configuration that is triggering a continuous reset. May we recommend to use the ERASE function in the firmware upgrade tool, this should revert to default all the settings that you adjusted.
Make sure zed-f9p uart2 output is disabled during the process, otherwise it might interfere with the firmware upgrade tool
With erase function do you mean by adding wipe_config.bin in the firmware tools?
It made no difference to disable uart2 output on the F9P.
Next to the START button in the firmware upgrade tool, there’s the ERASE button.
I have been able to update the firmware and get the wifi working again. Problem was that I had the wrong SPI mode selected.
The problem I have now is that when I connect the NTRIP master to my local wifi network it doesn’t seems to be connected to internet and not sending any data.
I loaded the base configuration to F9P and the NTRIP server is enabled and set to rtk2go.com at port 2101 with correct mountpoint and password.
The led’s on the NTRIP master for WIFI and WIFI hotspot are flashing as they should. The led for NTRIP server is not flashing.
I can use the simplertk2b as base station via USB and STRSVR to connect and send data to rtk2go.com
Any idea what I should try next?
After some more investigation and configuration of the led\’s with different colors it seems like wifi led flashes two times while the wifi hotspot only flashes ones and fades away. Two flashes indicate some sort of problem according to GitHub setup guide.
In the wifi part of the ESP32 XBee Config window it says connected to network and gives a IP address that I can connect to. The NTRIP server led never turns on.
I also get this error in the log
. ../main/ntrip_server.c:133 (ntrip_server_task): Could not connect to host
It seems either the WiFi configuration is not correct (and the wifi is not having internet access) or the ntrip credentials are not correct.
The strange thing is that when I configurate the ntrip master as client and connect it to a base station on rtk2go it starts receiving and sending data. The led’s still flash two times for ntrip client mode. Is it working OK even though they flash twice?
If there is something wrong with the configuration of the F9P (I have loaded the base configuration from your website) so it’s not sending data to the ntrip master as it should. Will there be problems connection to rtk2go then?
I dont see how there could be any problems with the credentials as there is only the mountpoint and the password to connect to rtk2go or am I missing something?
