Hi,
I just bought two brand new Wifi Ntrip Master modules. When I powered it up, the AP ESP_Xbee_1F1959 showed up and I could do the configuration. I enabled the local wifi then enter it SSID and PW, then click SUBMIT. After that, when I set the security of the AP from OPEN to WPA/2-PSK, enter the password (6 letters), and click the Submit button, the Xbee AP disappeared. I tried pressing and holding the reset button on the module for 5 seconds but nothing changed (LED still flashing). Then I tried to update firmware and reset it, but it won\’t work either even after the update is completed. When reading from its serial port, it still shows “PESP,WIFI,STA,CONNECTING, my local wifi,P,Fx06”.
I wanted to use one for the base and another for the rover side to replace XBEE LR. What should I need to do?

Update: I tried with Flash_download_tools_v3.6.7 several times as the guide here (https://www.ardusimple.com/wifi-ntrip-master-firmware-update/) but no success. The debug console showed only:

Efuse CONSOLE_DEBUG_DISABLE is already burned.
Uploading stub…
Running stub…
Stub running…
Changing baud rate to 460800
Changed.

In the download tool window, it showed FINISH. But when I press the Reset button, the LED does not flash anymore. Has the module died?

Hi, the firmware upgrade doesn’t delete the settings. To delete the settings you need to use the firware upgrade tool and do an ERASE procedure.
About how you got to this point, from your description it doesn’t look that you did anything wrong, but maybe you entered the usernames/passwords in the wrong place.
If it helps, the WiFi has 2 WiFis: it’s own wifi for configuration, and the wifi to which it connects to. We recommend leaving the WiFi for configuration (ESP_XXX) untouched and always on.

Thank you for your prompt reply. After doing an ERASE and then Firmware upgrade, I am able to bring back the ESP_Xbee AP to the original state.
What do I need to do in the setup to replace the XBEE Pro LR?

Problem solved by using an RTK Caster service (Ex: Emlid NTRIP Caster). Need to configure the base as a master, and the rover as a client (both base and rover are connected to the same local network).
