Do you know how I can know the “quality” of the fix from the ublox ROS node? (By quality, I mean the “No FIX or “2D” or “3D” or “3D/DGNSS” or ‘float” or “fixed”)?
In particular, I’m interested to know if I’m in fixed mode or not.

The status is reported in UBX-NAV-PVT and NMEA-GGA, check if your software is using either of those.
thanks a lot. I have indeed a /gps/navpvt topic, which seems to correspond to the UBX-NAV-PVT, and contains flags “CARRIER_PHASE_FLOAT” and “CARRIER_PASE_FIXED” which seem to correspond to float and fixed modes as displayed in ublox
