TIME mode?

Q&A forumTIME mode?

After loading the Ardusimple base and rover configs, tried the two f9p’s again and then took them outside.  Wow, what a difference outside made!  Only about 10 more dB than in the house, but the rover, all by itself, showed 3D/DGNSS.  It has never done that before, only 3D once enough sats were recognized.  What does that indicate?  The base unit, on the other hand, went from startup, to some mode I couldn’t quite catch, to TIME mode.  What in the world does that mean and indicate???  These are from the window in u-center, where it also shows HDOP and PDOP.

time mode is required for the base to generate corrections. it’s important to not move the antenna of the base once this unit is powered.
