unfortunately the gps fix takes about 1 to 3 minutes. Sometimes even after 5 minutes there is no gps fix.It helps to disconnect the power and gps antenna from ardusimple.

Can you return the simpleRTK2B to default (ubx-cfg-cfg “revert to default”). After that, connect to a PC with u-center. In open sky you should get a fix in 30 seconds.
Thanks for the fast response. You are right. After revert to default fix is there in about 30 seconds. I need to set UBX- CFG (Config) – PRT (Ports)

Protocol in and Protocol out to
0+1+5 – UBX+NEMEA+RTCM3
I commit that with Button “Send” and send in configuration “Save current configuration”. At the latest after 5 new start the fix needs more than 2 minutes. After 2 minutes I stopp the try. Maybe it won’t work at any waiting time.

If you are only changing UART2 port config, I don’t see a reason for your described behavior.
Do you have good sky visibility or you are doing tests on the window? That would also explain 3-5 minutes.
The last tests I Do was on the window. But I did all test on the window. Without the UART2 port config the fix is over and over again about 30 seconds even on the window.
George, we can’t imagine a reason why uart interface can affect performance… unless you are enabling too many messages and you are getting resets due to buffer overflow on that interface.
As I wrote before I set to default. After I just change the UART-Configuration.
Does it makes sence to provide some logfiles or configuration files?

If you say you are in default, no need of configuration files.
A logfile can help, you can send it to firstname.lastname@example.org
Tests next to the window is not for RTK technology. RTK technology only works outdoor with perfect view of the sky.
