Hello,
Live RTK with the RTK-Handheld-surveyor-kit, Lefebure NTRIP Client and Locus Map Pro on an Android Smartphone works perfect as shown here. But of course you need a permanent data connection to the internet.
In areas without mobile internet I would permanently like to save the RINEX data from the RTK-Handheld-surveyor-kit to my Android smartphone and do a postprocessing at PC after the trip.
During the trip I would like the (not as good as RTK-) Geoposition given to my Locus Map (as Mock Position like Lefebure NTRIP Client does it).
My question is, how to store the Rinex data from RTK Handheld Surveyor Kit sampled on Android Smartphone? Which software options are there?
I\’m afraid I don\’t have any real RAW data in my UBX file at all. Maybe I need to change the configuration of my RTK Handheld Surveyor Kits?
Because even if I save the RAW data with the \”old\” U-Center (\”Record\”), then I get a UBX file, which I cannot convert to RINEX with RTKConv.
Could someone please take a look at my UBX file to see if it actually contains the RAW data that can be converted to RINEX?
Example RAW file from U-Center:

Hello, this file has two problems:
1) It does not have RAWX and SFRBX enabled, so RTKlib won’t be able to do anything
2) Satellite signal quality is extremely poor, please place the antenna in a better location
In order to activate RAWX and SFRBX please open u-center go to View > Messages View > UBX-RXM-RAWX (right click on RAWX and select enable message), repeat the same for SFRBX.
Then go to UBX-CFG-CFG and save the configuration.
We suggest you to disable the rest of the messages since you don’t need to postprocessing.
Yes, of course, because my receiver was under my desk (inroom), connected to PC.
For real measurements I would go outdoors.
>In order to activate RAWX and SFRBX
Thank You! I have found it and it seems to work.
>We suggest you to disable the rest of the messages …
This I would like to do, because i afraid that some of the RAW-datastream will not reach my UBX-File.
Until now I also have the NMEA-data in my UBX-File, frequency 1Hz.
I do not find the right place to change the configuration not to send NMEA.
So I tried to use your configuration in file “simpleRTK2B_FW130_PPK_UART1USB_1Hz-00.txt” for RAW data (PPK) over UART1 & USB at 1Hz.
But this does not work because of timeouts during installation of the configuration file, see screenshot-video.
Is this configuration file not suitable for the RTK Handheld Surveyor Kit?
Yes it is, when you see this error, please change manually the baudrate in u-center connection to 57’600bps and send the configuration file again.
After the process is successful, remember to go to View > Messages View > UBX-CFG-CFG click Save and click the Send button.

Hello, SW Maps has a “Log to File” option that will log everything it receives.
Since RAWX and SFRBX messages are a bit bulky, we suggest you to use the USB OTG interface instead of the Bluetooth connection (SW Maps supports both).

Thank You! SW Maps now saves an *.ubx-File. Then I tried to convert the ubx to a RINEX file via RTKCONV ver .2.4.3 b34, but with no success. 🙁
I believe there is noting to configure at the SW Maps side, but may be I have to change the options in RTKCONV?
Could You please check the Options:

Try using the RTK Explorer fork, Tim’s got a lot of experience with the uBlox receivers, and other contemporary ones.
