I am sending RTCM over uart2, and I want to read it from raspberry pi, but I can’t read it.
Notice that I’m not using an Xbee module.
Should I do a trick ?
Why arduisimple made the output on RX2 and not just TX2 ?
Because they are terms relative to the XBEE, and thus the emphasis to avoid you using the wrong pin, the trick is to take the output from the output pin.
TX2 is the INPUT (ZED UART2 RX, XBEE TX)
RX2 is the OUTPUT (ZED UART2 TX, XBEE RX)
I believe there is some diode gating such that two outputs won’t directly fight, but they can still interfere. Sorry don’t have a schematic, but I do know how to diode-and a pair of normally high signals.
Thanks clive, you’re always answering me both here and in ublox portal community support
