Hello,
I’m trying to setup a pair of simpleRTK2B’s as a base and a rover, and I’m trying to update the firmware as recommended. (currently on HPG 1.13)
I’m getting to step 9 on the update guide (https://www.ardusimple.com/zed-f9p-firmware-update-with-simplertk2b/) but I’m getting the following error within a few seconds of hitting go.
Firmware update utility has unexpectedly terminated
exit code (3221225781)
Ive tried the basics, restarting the computer/GPS, redoing instructions, new software install, different baud rates ect, i always get the same error. Not sure how to proceed and I cant find any information on the error online.
Anyone encountered this error before or have any suggestions? Or am I ok to proceed on this older firmware?

Not seen such an error either.
You can run the uBlox update tool from the command line also

Is the older firmware working? I yes the leave it along.
Make sure to remove radios or other sources of UART traffic whilst doing the update

tried running it from the command line and got a more useable error message from that. ‘FTD2XX.dll was not found’
the .dll was intact so copied it into the same folder as u-center and it works now.
not sure if it was meant to be included with u-center?
thankyou for the help 🙂

Converted to hex, this is a Microsoft/Windows error code fed through.
