Hey guys, I am about to buy the “simpleRTK2B – Starter Kit MR” together with 2 Raspberry Pi adapters. Now I am not sure, if I am able to achieve what I wanna build with this parts. If someone could help me, that would be fantastic. I wanna use the base/rover setup to detect if I am inside a certain area. For that, I have planned to write a script on the raspberry pi connected with the rovers board, reading the current location with a script.
Does anyone know, if I can achieve this by sending correction data from the base station over a wireless network to my rover, then feed the correction data to the rovers board, calculate precise rtk location, log the precise location to my raspberry?
Thanks a lot
Hi manuel,
yes, you can do this with the raspberry pi. But maybe you don’t need a RPi in your base station, the board can be used standalone to generate correction data for the rover.
Thank you very much.
