Base PPP and Rover questions

I would like to try a set of Ardusimple boards for some tests, but I have some questions first. I am planning to use a base to observe a point for 4-8h and perform a PPP using NRCAN, and a rover to collect points that will later be corrected using the PPP.

  • The serial datalogger to microSD states you need an Xbee board that supports it. Am I good using a LR Xbee?
  • Where do I set the antenna height prior to recording the data? (question for both base and rover)
  • Anyone here used NRCAN with the survey antenna and got good results? Care to share?
  • Am I better off using an arduino or a raspberry pi as boards?
  • How do you correct your rover points with the PPP solution after the fact? With Trimble they have online tools and software. RTKLIB?
  • What is the workflow for the base setup? web interface to set it up?

Thank you all for your help.

Hola Francis.
