Today we want to share a customer project that might be interesting for the PCB manufacturing enthusiasts.
Github’s user WildBuckwheat developed a PCB board to connect ArduSimple simpleRTK2B Micro F9P to a Raspberry Pi in a very neat way. Actually it can connect to any product from the Micro series, as they are all pin to pin compatible.
And what can you do with it?
- If you prefer to only copy-paste code you can use it for creating a very low cost RTK base station with your RPi.
- If you are into programming, basically anything that comes to your mind. You can get started with this tutorial on how to read GPS data from your Raspberry Pi.
You will find all design and production files together with instructions in his github’s page: https://github.com/WildBuckwheat/simpleRTK2B-Micro-Hat-for-Raspi/tree/main
