There is no data being shown on GNSS Master of SW Maps. I am outside. Baud rate is 38,400. Instrument model is u-blox RTK. The USB connection is fine. I got the particular unit in order to avoid as much programming as possible. I did go into u-center and enabled nmea messages for I2C, SPI, UART1, UART2, USB.
Suggestions?
I never changed the data rate… but I did see this question posted where the staff replied:
You need to enable NMEA on UART2 at 38’400bps.
I didn’t change anything from the “BT+BLE on SimpleRTK2B or SimpleRTK2Blite” configuration file. From the information on the page with configuration files, I gather the description for each file is what the file does… not what I need to do in addition? Surely I don’t have to configure a configuration file.
The text on the page for the configuration file says:
Disable SBAS, to avoid position jumps during short RTK corrections interruptions
UART2 activate NMEA output via UBX-CFG-PRT and change baudrate to 15’200bps
Activate GST so accuracy estimates are also visible
Enabled High Precision NMEA with one extra decimal digit
Enable SPARTN mode for PP compatibility (only on fw >=1.32)
The description next to each configuration file is what is done inside the configuration file.
At the moment of writing this post, our bluetooth modules and professional sets work at 38’400bps.
The BT+BLE works at 115’200bps, thus the need of a different configuration file.
In regards to “The description next to each configuration file is what is done inside the configuration file”, (sorry, I am confused by the sentence grammar) is that what must be done by me or has it already been done by ArduSimple in the file?
I had previously been instructed by tech support to use the BT+BLE config file. I have the professional set. It seems those two are opposed if the professional unit is 38,400 and the BT+BLE file is 115,200. Am I supposed to be using that file or the “Bluetooth on simpleRTK2B or simpleRTK2Blite” file?
I am using PointPerfect, the professional calibrated surveyor kit, and regular bluetooth.
The text next to the configuration file it’s a description of the configuration file. You don’t need to do those steps if you use the configuration file.
If you use Bluetooth (38’400bps): “Bluetooth on simpleRTK2B or simpleRTK2Blite”
If you use BT+BLE (115’200bps): “BT+BLE on simpleRTK2B or simpleRTK2Blite”
I uploaded “Bluetooth on simpleRTK2B or simpleRTK2Blite”. That took care of the Bluetooth not working. To additionally get data when using the usb cable to the phone, should I enable CFG-MSGOUT_NMEA_ID_GST_USB or should it be CFG-MSGOUT_NMEA_ID_GST_UART1?
I'm unsure of any issues caused by enabling all five of the GST choices.
With your product its CFG-MSGOUT_NMEA_ID_GST_UART1
